“Quiet spot with lovely friendly hosts”

Lovely quite spot hosted bey a friendly family. A lovely place to stay with great facilities. Close to Dijon on the tram… only a few stops away.

Everything! Geraldine is a lovely hostess and really welcoming.Vincent took the effort to say hello which was nice.Very comfortable room.The pool was an added bonus on a warm day.The 10 mins walk from the accommodation to the direct tram to the centre of Dijon (Jardin Darcy) was a real bonus.Lovely breakfast beautifully prepared by Geraldine including lots of homemade produce.

Homemade jams and cake. Everything worked. Hosts polite and informative. It served our purpose, passing through from UK to the South of France. Lots of open countryside nearby if you wish to explore further.

Extremely good value for money. We were in a lovely room with a pool view. The swimming pool was a great benefit after a long drive. Very clean and refreshing. The hosts were lovely, very accommodating and charming.

The hosts, Vincent and Geraldine, were very helpful and friendly. Vincent gave us lots of information on what to do in the area. He spoke very well in English, which was welcoming as our French was limited. Geraldine made a lovely meal for us in the evening. Breakfast even included some homemade cake and yoghurt. Geraldine also gifted us a jar of the local Dijon mustard, which was a thoughtful touch. The room itself was small but perfectly functional for a one night stay. The shower had good pressure. The bed was a little smaller and lower than we are used to, but it was comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast area is in a separate building to the rooms. Parking at the location is a little tight if you have a big car, but there is secure parking space for each room. The location was a 4 min walk to the tram stop that took us into Dijon in 15 mins and is well worth doing. All in all, it was a pleasant stay in a good location, allowing us to see a bit of Dijon.

A really great find!! Geraldine and Vincent were fantastic hosts, and have put a lot of thought into how to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome. Some lovely personal touches including homemade cakes and jams in the range of breakfast choice. Freedom to use the guest kitchen when we arrived to make a hot drink was perfect. The room, shower, comfortable bed etc was perfect after a long drive and so much nicer and more interesting than staying in a standard stopover hotel . The pool and outside area was also clean and well maintained.

Vincent was a great host, welcoming and super accommodating. The location is great if you don’t want to be in the centre of Dijon but want to be close (only 15-mins on the tram which runs 5mins away from Vincent & Geraldine’s house) we had a lovely breakfast in the garden with homemade cake and other wonderful treats!

Friendly welcome by our hosts. Swimming pool was great after a hot day on our bikes, with cold beer and lounge chairs beside. Location was not great for seeing the sights of Dijon, but we were on bikes en route south to Beaune and this was a convenient stop for us. Breakfast was standard continental with the addition of homemade cake. Secure bike storage. Location is in a suburban residential area.
