“very good, cozy, friendly, but ... not without hickups”

Excellent location - a Chinatown inside a China City, but the main asset of this hotel are the young chaps at the reception who are friendly, helpful, efficeint and speak a very agreeable English - a rare case in the Chinese hotels. Our room was comfy and even had a whirlpool bath. The hotel restaurant has such a rarety (in China) as a cool white wine ! (overpriced, mediocre but OK, you wouldn;t get this luxury 5 miles around, at least)

“Excellent”

Ideally located near two metro stations (L2 and L5). Walking distance to a park with an Opera amd a magnificent lotus pond. The hotel itself looked luxurious and classy, the room was comfortable and clean. All the staff was very kind and helpful, they helped us to book some bus tickets. Breakfast is a buffet with Chinese and Continental choices, a lot of variety. There is also a restaurant in the hotel (we didn’t try it).

“Wonderful”

Central location, wonderful staff, great breakfast & the complementary welcoming wine! Also they generously extended our check out time after our panda visit took way longer than expected. Even if not for the hotel, you need to stay here for the amazing helpful staff, Juliya,Emma,Lareina,Zach and Joey ! Traveling through China, this was the only time I could communicate with staff, without using the translator app which was very refreshing and they helped us a lot with the sightseeing! Would love to come back

I can honestly say that I have rarely encountered such a kind, caring, and dedicated reception team. From the moment I arrived, they went far beyond simply helping—they were always looking for ways to make my stay even better. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine desire to assist added so much value to an already beautiful place. The hotel was impressive on its own, but thanks to its exceptional staff, the experience was worth twice as much. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team. I highly recommend this hotel and will remember their kindness for a long time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything! However, Frank, Zach, Joey, Emma, Juliya, Lareina and the rest of your staff are all amazing. They gave a personal touch to our stay. We stayed with you 10 years ago and have always recommended to others that they stay with you. Because we have always felt such fondness towards your hotel, we came back in 2026 to celebrate my husband's birthday. I would add that your restaurant is even better than better!!! It felt like coming home.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough the staff are absolutely fantastic especially Joey & Zach the location is great the food dinner & Breakfast were great we had a problem with our phones and the guys went over and above to sort us out. Free laundry service a fab silk shop next door close to the peoples park where we go to see kung fu tea good fun. brilliant value

The hotel has a perfect ubication, near everything. Great food and good rooms. But the best of all is the excellent support from the personel of the hotel. They help me a lot and always with a smile. Thanks a lot Juliya,Emma,Lareina,Zach and Joey!!!!

Stayed here for a few nights while in Chengdu, the hotel is beautiful and in a great location near the metro. The staff here were amazing and super friendly. Juliya and Zach were so welcoming and always ready to help when I needed anything. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Chengdu!

“Beautiful stay in Chengdu”

The hotel itself is very pretty and it's located in a quiet area, so we had a nice, relaxing stay. The staff was kind and helpful on everything, they also spoke English at reception. We had our room upgraded and it was very big and comfy, plus an extra point goes to the facilites in the bathroom. They also had some small thoughts here and there for us, which made us feel appreciated. Overall, I would recommed this hotel to anyone going to Chengdu.

Friendly helpful staff, great location, good atmosphere. Rooms cleaned daily and free bottled water left in room. We booked 2 rooms and they were both nice and big. Restaurant and Breakfast nice. Hotel is directly on Qintai Road with lots of places walkable from the hotel. The shops at the end of the road are open till very late so we never went without.

“Great overall experience”

I've had fantastic experience with this hotel starting from welcome electronic message with very useful info about China and Chengdu e.g. which applications are recommended for China), continuing with reasonably priced airport pickup, personal handwritten welcome message from GM in the room, bottle of free wine and excellent overall service. Everyone was there to help when needed with any request. I especially liked Emma from front desk - super professional and helpful. The hotel felt very traditionally atmospheric, same about the whole area where it's located

Great hotel, great location. It is like staying in a temple in the middle of Chengdu! The staff was really helpful and accommodating, i will definitely be back!
