Arthur was an amazing host who was able to point us in the right direction for amazing food and sightseeing activities. The property is well maintained, centrally located, amazing value for money and overall a great place to stay. Arthur has his own entertainment bar and we were treated to an amazing night of music and entertainment. Unforgettable and truly amazing.

We really loved everything! The apartment itself was comfortable and convenient — it had everything we needed for our stay, the beds were very cozy. The neighborhood was very quiet, even though it’s in the city center (or near) — we slept perfectly! The host is a wonderful and kind person. As a local from Chengdu, he recommended many interesting and delicious places, and we also spent a few lovely evenings together. Thank you for everything and wishing you all the best!

“A great place to base your exploration of the city.”

The location is great, in the centre of the city, not far from two metro lines from which the whole fantastic city is easily accessible, including the long distance travel hubs. The accommodation has everything you need, including access to the rooftop, which I made very good use of. Best of all is the host Arthur, who will make you very at home, and provide as much help and advice as you need. If you are lucky he may have time to show you some local eateries or more should you so wish.

The location is excellent near shops, eateries and bus stops. Within the 1st ring road. The host is fantastic going all out to accommodate us and giving helpful suggestions of places to go and shops. It is within 25 minutes of walking distance to Yulin the trendy art street and large market. For nearly two weeks stay, there is cooking and washing facilities which really help when we do not want to eat out and washing our clothes.

The accommodation was great. Nicely furnished apartment. The quarter where we stayed had a nice atmosphere and offered many restaurants. We were satisfied. Arthur treated us with tea and gave us tips.

“A charming property and host”

Arthur was a courteous and generous host, full of recommendations and local knowledge, as to both local cuisine and night life. Upon arrival, he welcomed us to his rooftop located in a different building and greeted us with wonderful tea. As we got to know each other, he offered to join us on nights out or to dinner together when we liked which was very hospitable. He replied to messages quickly when we ever had questions when out and about Chengdu city. The property was clean and all the amenities worked very well. The location is also amazing with brilliant food and shops right on the doorstep!

The location of the accommodation is very close to all destinations of us and it is very quiet in such a peaceful community. I really enjoy the facilities in the room. The bed and pillows are comfortable, and the quilt is of good texture. There are washing machine and dryer in the room, so I could wash my clothes every day. And the floor is well cleaned. This is one of the best B&Bs I've ever been to, the host is very hospitable and when we visited his rooftop garden, believe me, you will love the atmosphere here

We had a great Time with Arthur. He seems to know all the excellent cheap restaurants in town. We loved the flat and the home bar. If we get to Chengdu again, it will be at Arthur for sure.

The appartement was cozy and the location was very convenient, I can find the major tourist sites within 3km. The rooftop garden was definitely a great feature consisting of a mini bar and a projector system, with a great variety of wine, would definitely recommend anyone for this feature. The landlord was easy going and offered me many good recommendations for food , will definitely be back soon!

“Chengdu is crazy, but in Arthur's apartment is even better.”

The roof-toop, as well as the apartment, are crazy places where to live the best possible experience in Chengdu. My review cannot be complete withouth saying that Arthur wasn't just an host but a guide in the jungle of Chengdu, who wanted to provide the best possible experience for us. Dinners, crazy night, and movie togheter, will make me come back to Chengdu not only for the city but also for Arthur.

“Comfortable stay”

The apartment has everything - cooking, washing, etc. The space was good enough. The location is very near to the Tibetan community, with many restaurants and shops. Also walking distance to the Wuhou Shrine and Jingli street. The host was helpful wherever needed.

A cozy apartment with two bedrooms, which is clean and with all facilities for a comfortable stay, great for the family trip. Arthur is thoughtful and responsive, trying to help with anything you need. We had a delightful experience in Chengdu thanks to the valuable tips from Arthur on local food and destinations. The terrance with nice decorations on his rooftop is a plus, you can sit and have a chat there in the evening.

Arthur was very responsive and gave helpful local recommendations too! The flat was spacious and kept very clean. It was great for a big family to stay. We had 6 people in total and it was perfect. There were a lot of stores and food a few minutes away, which was very convenient!
