“Perfect stopover”

A beautiful house with a very warm and friendly host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s a great stopover if you’re heading south. We opted for the table d’hôte dinner and could not fault it – the food was excellent and the whole experience was delightful. The house is charming, comfortable, and full of character. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to others.

Beautiful little chateau, lovingly renovated with great care and attention to detail. We very much enjoyed the warm and personal welcome from the hosts, who immediately made us feel at home. The atmosphere of the house is both elegant and comfortable, making it a relaxing place to stay. We will be very happy to come again!

Beautiful castle with a lovely family! Very warm welcolme, amazing garden with plenty of family games and swimming pool. Homemade delicious dinner in a cozy castle atmosphere. Bedding quality and amenities are top. Excellent breakfast and nice wine selection. We will come back!

“Authentic French Chateau - Excellent Food”

My Family really enjoyed our stay at Chateau de Corcelle. The Chateau was conveniently located close to the motorway making it a good stop off point on our way back to the UK from the French Alps. We were warmly greeted by our host on arrival who could not have done more to make our stay comfortable. The Chateau has an authentic French feel but the rooms are modern and have TV and WiFi included. We had a 4 course evening meal made with locally sourced ingredients and a traditional French breakfast - the food was excellent.

Lovely chateau just outside Chalons. Lovely welcome by the owner. Very comfortable beds in large, bright rooms. Fabulous breakfast and delicious dinner cooked by the owner.

Very lovely experience! First time ever sleeping in a chateau. Would recommend taking the dinner, it was delicious! The bed was the best we’ve slept at in our trip in france.

The room and the breakfast room are beautifully decorated. The bed is very comfortable. Both my husband and myself are very sensitive to the madras’s and bed linen comfort. I can assure that these are top quality. Probably the best madras’s I ever slept on. The lady of the house is very friendly.

A beautiful chateau in a great setting, easy to find from the motorway travelling south. The house is tastefully decorated in period style and the bedroom I stayed was large and the super king size bed was extremely comfortable. There is ample seating and a place for luggage. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and the walk in shower was all I needed. The host was friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to ask and all my needs catered for. The owners are obviously proud of there chateau’s heritage. I booked the four course evening meal which was perfect, local wine and local cheese and the breakfast was enjoyable and typically French. I really couldn’t fault a thing and overall I really enjoyed my stay.

The decoration of all rooms matches the original archtecture of the building and at the same time is pleasantly minimalistic. The hosts are very friendly and the food is superb. The view to the gardens of the estate is beautiful. The closeness to the highway made it a very convenient stop for us for the night while the super comfortable beds and thr excellent sound isolation allowed for a very peaceful and pleasant sleep!
