“Lovely hotel close to everything”
Lovely hotel full of character. Breakfast is good value with lots of choices. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to beach and town. Only one little thing is the room was a bit on the small side but it didn’t spoil our stay.

“Excellent hotel and location”
Character property in great location, opposite the train station which was ideal for getting around - 10 minutes by train into La Rochelle. Short flat walk of just over 5 minutes through the park to the beach, bars and restaurants. Lovely refined resort. Hotel has no lift, not a problem for us. We didn't take the option of breakfast so can't comment on that. We were in room 240 at the top of hotel. Very nice suite with a very large double and a separate single room. Very nice bathroom, powerful shower. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to find, we were able to park on site for free but there's plenty of parking in the street.

“Very peaceful clean and comfortable B n B in ideal location”
Delightfully peaceful and welcoming family hotel with onsite private parking. The communal areas inside have a stylish yet comfortable/cosy ambience and there is also a spacious covered seating exterior area at the front. This was our third visit in as many years. The friendly owner recognised me and immediately spoke in English. Ideal location as within minutes walking distance of many shops, restaurants and the beach.

“A fabulous location and memorable stay for the right reasons.”
I love the story of the owners who have lovingly restored this hotel and now welcome each guest in such a personable manner. The rooms have been beautifully and extravagantly restored. The continental breakfast is excellently presented and of high quality as well as modestly priced. In fact, the cost of staying at this hotel is very reasonable and about 40% less than comparable hotels in Las Rochelle. The hotel is in the absolute ideal position in Châtalaillon, less than 200m from the very centre of the beach and the best restaurants, and through a park to reach it, while being across the road (25m) from the train station, which links with La Rochelle in about 10 minutes.

Friendly staff, lovely room short walk to the beach ideally located, close to places to eat will definitely stay there again if in the area Breakfast was good value, and coffee delicious. Able to park for free near the hotel
