Lovely clean bed in the women's dormitory - comfortable and with lots of space for your belongings, including a cabin size case inside of your capsule and there is a fridge in the room! Nice shared lounge space with microwave and cooking facilities, clean bathroom and key carded women's shower facilities - felt private and safe. Kind check-in staff and complimentary welcome drinks from 2pm (Hibiscus tea!) and ice cream, plus free rides to the nearest beach from the Hotel. Great location, American Village (shops, restaurants and bars) is under a 10 minute walk, closest bus stop back to Naha is also under 10 minutes walk from the hotel (The number 28 bus takes less than an hour to Kokusai Dori street).

It's located very close to the American Village, lots of shops, restaurants, bars. The front desk staff were super friendly, and the facilities were well-maintained and modern compared to other hostels in the area.

Ideally situated.

Amazing location, close to American Village. Easy to get to bus stops to go north or south. In hostel, very nice, clean, shared bathroom plenty of space and very clean. Cleaners are going through the dormitory regularly. Common area is very nice. Large area comfortable seats. Staff friendly and helpful.

A great room with a comfortable bed. The location was excellent as well. The staff were pleasant, the shower was clean, and the kitchen was good.

Everything was perfect, just one suggestion. There're 2 smoking zones out of which one is inside the kitchen/dining area. Whenever someone goes in and out the escaped smoke makes these areas a bit uncomfortable. If this could be shifted alongside the other smoking zone which is just before the dorms that would be perfect. Everything else specially the good quality toiletries including washcloth was amazing 👏 😍

Definitely a great place to stay at Chatan. Stay at the backpacker dorm. 1 single space for a medium luggage. So i had to put my 2nd bag on the bed. But seems like others is putting their things at the public space at night. So it don't really bother me. I hardly hear others snoring at night. So either everyone is a quiet sleeper or the sound proof really well designed. Just roughtly 5 min to walk to America Village for slow walker. Same for the nearest convenient store at both direction off the hotel. And there are some restaurant at the main road just couple more walk furthur. Sea is nearby for some water activity. Hotel do provide one way transport to the sunset beach as well.

There is free drinking water in the lobby. The breakfast is delicious, and the staff is friendly.

Six stars to the American lady on the front desk. Hands down, the most helpful staff member I've ever encountered. She went out of her way, above and beyond, to help us organize a parcel to send to Naha and I can't thank her enough, and an truly grateful. Her level of service and care was phenomenal. Comfortable, quiet room, large size and well lit. Bathroom was great. Washing machines. Would stay again.
