We stayed three days at the hostel and we are very satisfied with the stay. The owner and the staff are attentive and helpful, and responded to our inquiries swiftly. We find it convenient that the hostel provides various activities and we are very satisfied with the ones we have attended(e.g. visit Cotopaxi). The accommodation is pleasant and functional and the food is good. We like particucally the fireplace in the restaurant.

The host was very kind and welcoming, and there were no problems with check-in. The room was comfortable, with a private bathroom and a beautiful view of Cotopaxi volcano. The breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip and was served on a lovely terrace.

Everybody was so lovely and helpful with everything. The view to Cotopaxi was beautiful. The bed comfortable. And the food delicious. I would totally recommend going there and for sure will return. Thanks for everything!

“Amazing location, service. Staff went above and beyond.”

Don't be fooled by the simplicity of the lodge - the level of service by Xavier and the team is 5 star. Our room was simple but cosy and we only slept in it as there is a glorious mess room on the first floor. Here you can use the kitchen to prep your own food but we opted for the three course evening dinner at for $7.50 As a vegan with food intolerances, I'm always worried, but I felt very confident that my needs would be met. They didn't mind me bringing vegan extras to breakfast, like oat milk, spread, hummus, etc. At night a wood fire is lit which smells amazing and there are comfy sofas to curl up on. We used the taxi service to and from the lodge and the price was reasonable and service prompt. We also had a great tour to Lago Limpiopunga. The WiFi was exceptional and my husband and I were able to run our business from 4,000 miles away. We're in our sixties and were by far the eldest guests but felt very much at home. I'm afraid Cotopaxi didn't behave and was covered in cloud, but hey, ho, such is the coyness of volcanoes.

“Cosy place”

I absolutely recommend this place, it is running from family business. Homemade food and breakfast, rooms are cosy and love the leaving room. If you are lucky with the weather then you will be able to see the volcano

Incredible accommodation. We were travelling in South America for about 2 months and this was one of our favourite stays. The location is excellent for exploring Cotopaxi, the common area is so comfortable and relaxing (particularly when the fireplace is going in the evening) and the staff were so kind and helpful. Couldn't recommend enough!

“Great place to stay!”

Absolutely everything in this place is amazing. The place itself is beautiful. They are so helpful and incredibly nice. It’s very clean. The shower is warm. The fireplace and the chill area are amazing. The food is tasty and really made with love and they take care of any allergies you might have. Basically if you have any wishes they organise it. We made two tours organised by them and both were great. There is water, tea and shampoo for free. There are enough towels and they really think of all the details.

Everything was great. The owner and staff were superfriendly and helpful. The view is wonderful. We booked a great Cotopaxi tour. My kids played with the Lamas. We had a wonderful time. Easy to reach with the bus from Quito

“Amazing, would recommend!”

We had the best time in Cuscungo! The hostel is very nice and gave us a family vibe. They offered nice tours with friendly guides. The food is amazing and the view even better! The staff is so kind and helpfull. This was our favorite hostel so far in Ecuador!

The hostel was absolutely amazing! You could see Cotopaxi from the common area if the weather was nice. The hostel helped me book a horseback riding tour, which was so beautiful and an amazing experience. The breakfast had a variety of fruits, bread and eggs. I also had dinner there, it was such great value for the money and a great place to meet other people while enjoying a delicious meal. I can highly recommend this hostel, I will definitely come back here. Thank you so much for the awesome and friendly hospitality!!:)

“Good!”

The staff was really lovely. They even drove us from/to the bus stop, and gave us an upgrade for the room. The breakfast included is good (eggs, bread, fruits, yogurt & granola, and tea or coffee), and they offer dinner ($7,50) and a lunchbox ($?) if needed. There is also a ping pong table, cards and books.
