“Beautiful”

Everything! This hotel exceeded my boyfriend's and my expectations. The clean, the staff, and the breakfast were all excellent. I would definitely go back,And a special shout-out to Alan at the reception – he was fantastic!

The room exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, spaceous and beautiful. The staff was outstanding! They were very friendly and answered all of my questions.

“Terrible stay”

This was the worst hotel we found on Booking.com. He turned our birthday trip into a nightmare. We had a long day spent sightseeing and traveling for several hours. The reservation was confirmed. Our stay at the hotel was to start on Saturday at 3 pm. We finally arrived at the hotel around 4pm. On the spot, it turned out that we can't check in because the hotel is overbooking and our room was sold to someone else. They offered us another hotel another 30 minutes drive away on the opposite side of Charlston. We specifically chose this location to be close to the ocean and Mount Pleasant, as we had evening plans. We didn't have the strength, time or desire to drive through Charlston. We had no information the day before the trip or even in the morning before we started the trip, the reservation was still confirmed. There was no manager on site, only the lady from the reception, who did not show any willingness to help, treating us very coldly as if we were intruders. She just gave us a card that we can go to the hotel indicated by them, or leave the hotel and look for something else, this is no longer the hotel's problem but ours. We have to manage somehow because our previously booked place was sold to someone else. The lady at the reception did not feel any responsibility for the situation nor did she see it as a problem that there was no room for us here. She said that the manager had called us 2 hours ago, that is at 2 pm, to inform us that there was no place for us despite the previously confirmed reservation. She called practically at the beginning of our hotel day. At that time, we were already after a few hours of travel and during sightseeing and we could not answer the phone from an unknown number, especially since we did not expect any problems. Finally, leaving in the morning, we had a valid and confirmed reservation for our room. Booking was also not helpful.

Nice area nearby, with many restaurants, shops, hotels. I like the size of the rooms and the kitchen anex.
