“Good quality self-catering accommodation ideally located for visiting a number of places of interest”
We were very glad that we chose the Candlewood Suites in Mount Pleasant for our 4 night stay near Charleston. Being so close to Patriot’s Point it proved to be an ideal base to visit the Naval & Maritime Museum with USS Yorktown and USS Laffey and it was a useful pickup point for the ferry out to Fort Sumter. Parking was freely available during our stay. The room was of a good size, comfortable and well equipped for self catering. We particularly liked the facility to cast our own media to the large tv. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would be happy to stay there again.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! Everything was great, especially the attention to small details that really make a difference. Unlike many other places I’ve stayed at, they didn’t use paper or plastic dishes — everything was proper, which made meals feel more comfortable and pleasant. The room was truly clean — not just on the surface, but you could tell they care about hygiene. Even the corners and the bathroom were spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I would definitely come back again!

Nice, clean, modern rooms, friendly and helpfull staff, little snacks may be bought in the lobby, coffe is free, parking space in front of the hotel as well as opposite the street. Easy to reach be car and not far from downtown Charleston. Good beds.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the location for us was perfect. The area was quiet and laid back but a quick uber to nearby bars and restaurants or across to main Charleston.
