“Just beautiful, tranquil and would highly recommend”

Complete rural bliss, yet less than 10 minutes by car into historic, beautiful Saintes.Mine host was delightful and couldn’t do more for you.Waking up to freshly baked crossiants with natural yoghurt produced by the farmer next door. The accommodation was spotless with an outside terrace, pool and lovely manicured gardens overlooking a vineyard and crops. We can thoroughly recommend this establishment, we unfortunately only had a one night stay on our travels, but would love to go back for longer to explore the unspoilt area.

We stayed for one night to break up our journey through France, and had a very calm, comfortable and peaceful stay. Ludivine was an extremely warm and helpful host - sending perfect directions to get to the property when the road was closed on the day, and providing good food for both the evening meal and breakfast. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with excellent bathrooms.

Madame was very helpful and her English is excellent, our French is very rusty. She had sent instructions regarding the road closure close to the property though we didn’t require them. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent.

What a fabulous find . A great peaceful location enroute from UK to Portugal . This beautiful converted farmhouse where all rooms have their own terrace . A summer outdoor dining area beside the pool . We pre booked supper , which was excellent,3 courses all homemade for 22 euros . A very warm welcome . We will most definitely return. Thankyou

Fabulous french breakfast. Absolutely spotless, so very clean and tidy. Generous room and perfect bathroom. Great to have an electric blind. Amazing host, so friendly and helpful. Excellent English, and happy to help with french lessons. Food was great, delicious sharing board. Pool was so clean and so welcome on a hot afternoon. Would love to go back.

Lovely, quiet and comfortable place. We stay just for one night during trip and were absolutely happy. Excellent staff. Local parking. A lot of small restaurants in a 5-10 km distance as per your wishes. Classical breakfast. Nice!
