“A relaxing stay with a fabulous view.”

The property is in a lovely location which is quiet but a short walk into town. The view is gorgeous and having breakfast a few feet from the sea is a lovely start to the day. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. I recommend getting a massage at the spa. We got one the day after we arrived and it was so good we got another one the day before we left. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day to a high standard. The staff at the hotel are excellent; professional, warm, helpful and very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here.

“Smashing Location With Sunset Views”

The property was beautifully located by the beach and we have impeccable views. We really enjoyed the sunset from our rooms. The steam in our shower was an absolutely win and all the toiletries also felt luxurious. Great spa!

Car valet service was very helpful, Hotel restaurant was exceptional both for Breakfast and dinner. Our room was perfect with a great sea view (the balcony was a great spot to sit and watch the sunset)

It's a beautifully restored building with super comfortable rooms with stunning sea views. It's in a suburb of Chania very close to the great archaeological museum and the house museum of Eleftherios Venizelos. A pleasant 20 minute walk into town, there is also a goid bus service.

It was wonderful to wake up overlooking the sea every morning. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We ate there most nights and enjoyed the special menu on Christmas Eve. The staff are incredibly friendly.

“A place to return to...”

The breakfast was amazing. All food was presented in a very creative way, very different to other hotels. A la carte menu, which is included in the breakfast price, is amazing, with a lot of phantasy. And the location - beautiful. Even at the end of November we were sitting outside with a breath taking view... And everyone was so kind - but a special thanks goes to Jo.

Really nice hotel, close to the sea. The design is carefully done, extraordinary. The restaurant periplous is worth the visit with some exquisite dishes. A place to go back.

“Magnificent building and locations with shortcomings”

Despite the good reviews the breakfast was below expectations. No fresh fruit bar, after you sit down you have to wait for ever to get your coffee (why not have a self serve machine?). What bothered me most was the omelette I ordered. It was so big that on the following day I asked for a one egg omelette. They replied that they do not crack eggs, that it was pre-mixed and therefore could not adjust the amount. That took my appetite away! Front desk: Not very outgoing staff who do not look they like their job. At the check out they just took our money, no thank you, not asking if we enjoyed our stay. Valet parking: The man responsible for it was the best, very nice, deserves a rise. Indoor pool: Too much chlorine, water turbid. Jets not useable as there is no way to hold yourself Outside pool: Very cold so nobody used it Outside Public area in front of the spa/restaurant had multiple dog poop. During the 3 days we were there nobody bothered to clean it.

Staff especially at reception was very attentive and prompt in their service. They went above and beyond their jobs to help us.
