“We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Chania - it's like coming home!”

This was the third time we have stayed at Silde apartments. It is located in a beautiful, quiet side street in the old town. Very short walk to the restaurants and bars nearby. The hosts are lovely and communication before arrival and during our stay was excellent. Although Andreas could not meet us on arrival, he made sure he saw us the following morning and even carried our case down the stairs for us when we left. There was lots of information in the apartment about the local area. The apartments are always spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could need for a short stay.

Property was amazing great location, spotlessly clean, everything you needed and Andreas and Silvas so helpful and thoughtful. Truly traditional and characteristic property balcony was exceptional and will miss the views from the top floor studio as I had my morning coffee. Although the stairs are steep even with my vertigo I would still climb them several times a day to stay there. Hope to return at some point in the future

Very cute apartment and nicely located in the old town. The hosts were very nice and friendly. The cooking facilities were good and we came back to cleaned dishes and things when our room was made up, which was very nice.

We loved our stay here! Andreas was so helpful with communication regarding checking in and any questions we had about the area. The apartment was in a perfect location with heaps of restaurants, bars and boutiques at your doorstep (however no issue with noise from the street). We were also able to park our car very close by which was convenient. Andreas provided plenty of recommendations which we made finding places to eat very easy too!

Perfect studio apartment for 2 people right in the Old Town. Very nice rooftop terrace with more space than I expected, great for your morning coffee. Andreas added a warm, friendly personal touch and provided excellent advice on where to eat or visit and which beach to try or more importantly which ones to avoid.

The property was so beautifully decorated with wooden floors, a modern bathroom and beautiful linen. We had a lovely terrace area that we could sit out on and enjoy the view. The property was incredibly clean. Its position in the Old Town with all its charm was lovely. Andreas was a perfect host and responded quickly. He was willing to help us in any way he could. A lovely welcome pack was a nice touch also.

Perfectly located. The host was friendly and offered many good suggestions of places to eat and things to do. The property was so clean and perfect for our stay. Very safe, Highly recommend.

We loved our apartment which was located so conveniently to everything in the old town. The host Andreas was amazingly kind and helpful. He was there to greet us and carried our bags up two flights of steep stairs. He gave us recommendations for restaurants, bars and activities we might like and checked in with us each day to see everything was ok. He even came very early on the morning of our departure to carry our bags downstairs. Silde apartment was very thoughtfully appointed and had a very homely feel to it. The kitchen had everything you would need for a short stay and Andreas even provided some products from his family farm. There were two small balconies and shutters that blocked out any noise or light at night. The bedroom was large with a comfortable bed and plugs on each side for charging phones. Good hanging space, an ironing board, a security safe, extra blankets and effective air conditioning were all appreciated. The bathroom, though small, was designed to optimise space with a roomy shower and a strong flow of hot water. There were beach umbrellas available at the main door for our use and convenient parking not far from the apartment that Andreas had sent us the details about in advance to make our arrival easier. Multiple cafes, a bakery and a mini market just around the corner were a bonus. The apartment was cleaned by a lovely lady each day and fresh towels always provided on request. The whole experience was like going to stay in your own family’s holiday home in Chania, so comfortable, familiar and friendly.

Beautiful building in a superb location. Andreas was the perfect host. Really nothing was too much trouble for him. I cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back!
