“Relaxing holiday in Champdray”

We had a lovely autumn holiday here with our 2 dogs, I specially looked for a small chalet which situated on only one floor, has a garden which is not shared and is not directly next to the road - however, there´s not much traffic and the meadows with cattle nearby have the whole relaxing vibe, The chalet is perfect, very cozy and well-equipped with devices, tastefully furnished interior and a superior kitchen and bathroom. When we have been there in early October, the weather was wet so we couldn´t use the terrace, but I found very thoughtful touch the baby gates at the stairs (also keeps the dogs in). The walking paths start from the back of the house and a 20-mins-walk offers already a pretty view from the top of the Spiémont, or a longer round walk in the forest. With a little drive + walk we reached the waterfalls in Tendon, and other days we visited the cities Èpinal and Nancy, but the time was too short and the Vosges offers a lot of beauty to discover. The hosts are a very nice and welcoming couple, and I´ve never seen such a great collection they put together into a thick information folder with recommended restaurants, places of interests, maps, timetables (also manuals for the warm water and the heating system etc.,) I wish every host would be so caring!

“Wonderful chalet”

We had an amazing stay at the beautiful chalet in small village with path to a nice walk starting from the backyard. The little house had all equipment you can wish for even with stone bbq and swings. Place was very clean and we were welcomed warmly by the owners.
