Amazing cottage....so quiet and close to the mountains. Hannes and Martin were great hosts and I would definitely recommend doing the guided Osborn trail with Hannes! Will definitely go back!

Stunning location, with beautiful views of the Champagne Valley on the one side of the house, and of Cathkin Peak and Sterkhorn on the other side. The house itself was lovely, and would be well suited to larger groups. The fireplace and the large stack of free wood were awesome. The property is off grid, so no loadshedding worries. The free wifi was an extra bonus! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just a pity it was too short.

This house is in a very unique location. The views from the rear terrace are stunning. It takes a bit to find it but well worth the effort. The owner is very gracious, pleasant and accomodating. We would absolutely stay here again when we come back to Drakensberg.

“Magnificent views”
It is a quiet, peaceful place right below the cathkin peak and surrounded by the magnificent highlands. The property offers lot more than just an accommodation, it has a hiking trail, water falls. Right from sunrise to moon rise, not one thing that didn't amaze us. We were also lucky to see lots of snow on the peaks right from our balconies. We also had the pleasure to have an educational tour with Martin himself of the great "Martin's Berg Oil" organically made Eucalyptus oil based products. The overall experience was exceptional for us, we would definitely visit them again when time permits

“A magnificent area, such beautiful views, walks & friendly contact with our hosts.”
We had a problem with our vehicle just a few Km from our accommodation and they collected us and our luggage. Very kind and concerned about our well-being. Kept in touch until we had our vehicle back. 😊
