Excellent location to see the chateau

The hotel is in a world class location. It is comfortable and modern. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. It was a privilege to stay right next to the Château.

Fantastic location, great array of activities on site, and great bar and restaurant. Bedrooms were very clean and beds comfortable. The air conditioning was a lifesaver given the temperature during our stay. A very unique place to stay.

Location is perfect to make an early start to your chateau visit. Skip breakfast and get there at 9am for doors opening to tour around the magnificent place without the crowds. Check out is noon. Excellent English spoken by all the staff we came across. Our evening meal was taken in the bar, not the restaurant. It was reasonably priced with surprisingly generous portions.

There were hardly any staff available at breakfast. No one checked our room number. We had to find our own table. No food available for order. At dinner there was a long wait with many guests complaining.

The estate is beautiful and well maintained. In staying there you get to enjoy the grounds after the day tourists have left.

The room was beautiful. It was huge with a lovely outside terrace and overlooked the chateau. The bathroom and shower were also lovely. The bed was really comfy. The staff were all very polite and helpful.

Amazing location within the domain of Chambord, a few minutes' walk from the castle which is visible from the hotel! Great staff and restaurant, the food was delicious. There is also a lounge bar and spa. The pier is right outside where you can rent a boat, bycicles and golf carts. The ticket office for the castle and other activities is next door.

Everything was perfect.
