Overview
Located 4km from the centre of Chambéry, a small town in the heart of the Alps around the three lakes. The Campanile hotel in Chambéry is easily accessible by highway A43/A41 forwards Lyon/Marseille/Geneve. It offers free WIFI and free parking for guests. Location. Perfect for a late night stop when driving down to ski. You can be in the mountains and on the slopes and get an extra day ... Breakfast was much better than other hotels around here that we have tried.

Convenient location, by which I mean very easy to find, very near the route after a day's driving south through France. Very friendly staff, a pleasant meal on a Sunday evening, good choice at the breakfast buffet, and coffee making facilities in the room. Overall very good value for money and had all I needed.

“Disappointing”
Convenient location for stop over. Rooms were very clean. Shower room spotless. Staff were friendly. Privacy/security shutters were welcomed especially with people having to walk past your window to get to rooms. Overall, sadly we won't be returning due to the negatives below, but it is such a shame, because with a little investment in making the appearance neat, tidy & safe plus a better menu, it could be a great hotel.

“Good enough for a stopover”
The room was fine for an overnight stay. We liked the evening meal and the breakfast. It is always nice to have free parking. The staff were friendly.

“Good hotel for a short stay!”
Small, but clean room (we would book here agian for 1 night but would look for another hotel if we have to stay more than 1 night...). We stayed for 1 night as we were attending a concert at Barberaz. Free secure parking in front of the hotel.
