We felt very lucky to have found this property, a good price and we were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful spacious room and facilities. Great location in the city centre. Breakfast was also lovely served in a lovely setting. Jean-Baptiste was a very friendly and good host.

Jean-Baptiste was a very friendly and helpful host. Although not needed in the end, the information of key codes etc were very clear and came a day or two before our arrival. As we were the only people staying during the June heatwave he offered us a larger room with better aircon. The continental breakfast eaten in the beautiful garden was just right and the paid parking around the corner was very convenient. The house, used mainly as a venue for weddings and conferences etc was not only beautiful but also a short, pleasant walk into the town centre.

“Poor bathroom but nice location.”
Great location & very friendly, accommodating host. However, the rooms were all different sizes & standards, my bathroom was far too small & unusable after showering, and it was dusty.

“A great place to stay for visiting Chalons.”
The room we had was enormous! Huge very comfy bed and good shower. Tea and coffee facilities in the room, and use of a kitchen downstairs. Breakfast is available but we didn’t chose that option. Jean-Baptiste was the perfect host - very friendly and helpful. He arranged parking for us nearby for a small charge. The house has a lovely garden (with a fun gorilla statue), and is just a 5 minute walk from Chalons centre and sights. There are lots of restaurants close by too. A great find for a short stop on our way back from the South.

“Friendly, clean and comfortable stay”
I like the old building, It’s full of charm. We have stayed a couple of times now and enjoyed how close it is to restaurants. We had a typical breakfast of fresh bread, croissants, cheese, yoghurt etc. The shower was nice and powerful and the bed very comfy. Very pleasant staff and Jean-Baptiste is a very helpful host.

“Nice stay in an "Hotel Particulier"”
large clean room, lovely walled garden, quiet and close to town centre. We had a nice meal in the garden brought back from a take-away. The room decorated with Chanel memorabilia. We enjoyed ourselves though the deserted building felt a bit weird.
