We absolutely loved our stay in Le Clos des Chênes ~ the accommodation was perfect; beautifully decorated and the setting is a little oasis of tranquillity near the town of Challans. There are chickens, a beautiful peacock named Pete, and birds and squirrels visit the trees - delightful! The hosts Sylvie and Christian are charming and take great pride in hosting guests. Sylvie bakes, so we were treated to Brittany crepes, muffins, deserts, a selection of breads and homemade jams (from their garden) for breakfast. Very fulfilling. We loved our stay ~ thank you Sylvie and Christian ♡

“Perfect host , perfect accomodation ,in great location.”
Our room was very spacious with separate sitting room and outdoor terrace . Lovely traditional french breakfast. You might be lucky enough to experience the superior freshly made crepes. Sylvie was on hand to give us recommendations for places to visit during our stay. We were made very welcome and would return without hesitation. Great location for exploring the Vendee and L'Ile de Noirmoutier.

The breakfast was perfect with a good choice of foods, very nicely served by the host. The location was very quiet and peaceful, perfect for a good nights sleep.
