The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The house was cozy and very suitable for our group of four. The kitchen was well equipped. For dinner, we barbecued outside and enjoyed it on the terrace of the house. The breakfast prepared by the hostess was excellent, we especially liked the pancakes with jam. ;)

The place was larger than it looked in the photos, it had everything you could need. It was comfortable and very clean with plenty of firewood to keep you warm. Hosts were nice and will come get the fireplace ready and do some tidying while you are out. The house is situated on a farm property, so there are some houses and farm buildings on one side and on the other is a nice view of a large open field. My suggestion would be some better window blinds for privacy downstairs and better blinds for blocking light upstairs. While it was still cosy and we had a great time, this place is probably better suited for families rather than a romantic getaway. Definitely excellent value for money. Oh and it's just a few mins away from Cesvaine, which is convenient. Overall, a great place and one of the best value stays I have come across in Latvia in terms of comfort, facilities and cost per night. Thank you for a lovely time!

Breakfast was tasty - pancakes with homemade jam, scrambled eggs with cheese , bacon and tomato, just perfect! Live fireplace made our stay very special, nice and cosy. We both were able to relax and feel away from our daily lives. Also sauna was very nice.

Nice roomy clean place with comfy sauna and all needed amenities in quiet location. Possibility to order home made breakfast was great and picknick outdoor place also avaiable.

We like almost everything!!! In house all is perfect, spacious and super clean! Kitchen is more than equipped, everything what you can imagine is there!!! You can serve real Banquet there, all dishes are looking same style, and even a lot of vases! Pillow's in bedroom are not synthetic😍 Beds are comfortable and big for even 2 adults and small kid. There is one big room with 3 double beds, plus sofa, and 1 separate room with I guess 2 more double beds. The are around is well maintained. Grill area is under roof, big table in the yard, plus big table on a small terrace! Flower beds are very nice! And even volleyball are (no tent, maybe needs to be agreed) Great sauna and quite big! The owner was very helpful and pleasant, even brought us just done milk!!! Very close to Cesvaine castle, 5 minutes with car. The castle is a MUST VISIT )) The house is Super, super place )) Bravo!
