We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — right in the center of the old town, within walking distance to the castle of Český Krumlov. The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building that is authentically preserved and maintained to a very high standard. The room was comfortable, and the area is full of shops and restaurants just a few steps away. The staff were very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent and served in a lovely bistro — instead of a buffet, you can order whatever you like from the menu, which made the experience special and high quality. Beautiful accommodation down a lovely side street away from the crowds. I had a small health issue whilst there and Eduard and his wife (sorry I do not know her name as we were communicating via message) could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully decorated space, well equiped and comfortable room. We were allowed the early check in. Unfortunately we were not able to try breakfast and anything else from the bistro as it was closed during the days of our stay - however I highly recommend delicious breakfast at Kolektiv cafe. Great location to see beautiful Krumlov with a city parking at a good price nearby.

Amazing boutique hotel with great and friendly host

Loved the vibe and quirkyness of the accommodation, which did not compromise on quality or comfort. The location was also spot on for exploring the town centre and the castle. Nonna Gina across the street make delicious pizza and Apotheka cafe bar was our place to go for the best drinks while in Krumlov.

I had an excellent stay at Monastery Garden. The room was beautiful, cozy, and full of charm. The staff were warm and helpful, and the location is perfect—just steps from the historic center and the castle. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. A wonderful boutique stay with great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

“Truly exceptional”

While staying in Monastery Garden hotel in Cesky Krumlov, you do not want to even go out to see the beauties of the town because the house and the rooms are the beauties themselves. We had wonderful time, enjoyed the baths and comfort of the room as well as amazing service and food at the bistro downstairs. And once we felt like we wanted to actually explore the town, it was just outside the door. Truly amazing place!

“Quaint and quirky but lovely people and stay”

The room was quaint and pretty with a hand held shower/bath in the bedroom separated by a curtain. This was fine but a bit tricky when operating the shower as containing the water was only possible if you turned the shower on and off while showering.

I stayed at Monastery Garden when attending the 2025 Music Festival in Český Krumlov. Monastery Garden was absolutely amazing and it beat all my expectations. It's not only about the perfect location in the heart of the town but the hotel has a beautiful design, combining modern and old in every detail, and wonderful people who run it. “Beautiful hotel and fantastic host”

Outstanding boutique hotel run by a perfect host. This was a delightful find and it's a shame we only had 1 night here. If we ever return to Český Krumlov this will be top of our list. Superbly located on the edge of the historic centre and just below the enormous castle this had everything you needed and more. The breakfast area was beautiful and this was matched by our room. The breakfast itself was amazing and all cooked fresh and to order. The highlight here though is Eduardo the host - what a lovely, helpful man. He was so friendly without being over the top and was an absolute pleasure to talk to. A business is nothing without its staff and here the staff are the best. A total gem of a place!

the location for hotel is very good; design is elegant; room is clean and in good condition; owner is very friendly and helpful. btw, we love the sparkling water from hotel :P
