The house is beautiful, located in a quiet and peaceful area, and well equipped with everything you need. However, please note that it’s on the second floor with no elevator, and you have to climb the stairs, which can be challenging if you have a lot of luggage. The location is also quite tricky to reach — the roads are very narrow and winding, especially difficult if you have a large car. It’s situated high on a hill, and parking can be quite inconvenient. I’m not sure how accessible it is by public transport, but driving there is definitely challenging.

Comfortable room, a small aperitif was prepared for us, everything was clean — a perfect accommodation. I can also highly recommend the nearby restaurant! Visitors should definitely be aware that the road leading to the accommodation is not easy! You have to drive on a very narrow road to reach it — but in return, you'll get a beautiful view of Como along the way. The last 300 meters before the accommodation are especially narrow; it's not even worth trying with a larger or wider car. We arrived in a 540d Touring... it was very tight, but we managed to park at the accommodation. ( see photo )

We really enjoyed staying at this apartment. We were going there by foot from Cernobbio. It was a great challenge to climb up but worth it!

“Nice place for families and for people who want an authentic experience.”
The apartment is on the third floor of a renovated old (historic) house. It is beautifully furnished, has all amenities, a great kitchen, and a large bedroom. The house is located in an authentic village on a hill.

“Amazing location, amazing hosts”
The location is amazing, as you can hike right from the house, several paths are connected. Also, the view is stunning. and it is pretty close to all interesting visiting points on that side of the lake.

“Nice place, don't drive if you don't have a tiny car!”
Very clean, bright apartment. Nice to have a bottle of prosecco to welcome us! Didn't meet any of the hosts, but communicated fine by the app and WhatsApp and picking the key up from the lock box was easy. 20 mins drive from Como town. BE WARNED if you are driving!!! The roads up to the house are many hairpin turns and often only wide enough for one car. We had to reverse down a road when we met a car coming the other way, and it was barely wider than our normal sized car. Getting into the driveway was also a challenge. We had to drive past the road, then reverse up it in order to pull into the driveway. I now know why every car we passed was a smart car or similar size! We were not told about this until after we had booked, it would be nice to have some info on the main page to let people know before booking.

Access to the property in a car is VERY difficult. We actually scraped our car trying to get in & again trying to get out. The house is a long way up a very narrow road & there are no facilities (e.g. café, restaurant etc.) within at least 3km, so you have to drive back down the very narrow road to get anything.
