A beautiful old mansion set in a lovely garden only minutes from the autocorrelation. Our hosts were very welcoming even providing a dinner to meet dietary requirements. Everything was perfect.

Anne-Sophie and Pascal went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. The house - an Italianate villa - was set in beautiful gardens with a manicured lawn and large pond surrounded by impressive trees. The bedrooms were large and comfortable and the bathroom airy with a spa shower. Anne-Sophie cooked a delicious evening meal of amuse-bouches, lasagne, salad and dessert. Pascal served a copious breakfast with homemade yoghurt, fresh croissants, cold meats, fruit and coffee. We would gladly return to this gem of a place.

Our stay here was excellent. We arrived later than expected, and the welcome was so warm and kind They even made an evening meal for us, which was superb. Breakfast was also very good and generous. The property is charming, very well maintained, with beautiful large gardens. This was a perfect place to stay, and I highly recommend it.

Le location was perfect for us, just off the A89 on our way from Cahors to Geneva. However, there is much to do in the region and the Domaine de Marchal could also be used as a base to visit or as a base to cycle the 2760 km of marked trails in the Parc Naturel regional Livradois-Forez. With a large garden and a shallow pond, the domaine is perfect for families with children. We opted for the "table d'hôtes" in the evening and were served a copious meal. The breakfast was excellent with fresh bread and croissants, home made yogurts, fresh squeezed orange/grapefruit juice, cereals, etc. all topped with a wide choice of jams, chocolate and chestnut spreads and more. Anne-Sophie and Pascal were very nice and shared a lot of information on the region and on their beautiful house.
