Someone I did not know came and banged on my hotel door and demanded I open the door.

Well the first room I was given I went to open the door and there was a gentleman laying in the bed. After they finally got me a room that no one was in the following morning I had house keeping knocking on my door at like 830am asking is I was checking out even tho check out isn’t until 11am.

“We were not expecting luxury but hoping for a clean comfortable place to stay, we were disappointed”
We booked this motel based on the reviews that were posted. Cleanliness was a top priority and this hotel had good marks. When we arrived our "no smoking" room was anything but that. We bought spray and plug ins and my husband even cleaned the air conditioner screen. Despite that it continued to smell like someone was in there smoking. The floor was so dirty we could not walk on it barefooted. The bed was not comfortable and we had to go to the office for fresh towels. I have learned my lesson about inexpensive motels and relaying on online reviews. We were in Cedar Rapids for a funeral and left a day early because we couldn't take another night in that motel.

“It’s right for the price. But pretty sure there was smeared dog poop on the carpet soon as you walk”

Very rude guests all day. I left the hotel and got another hotel because there were also roaches in our room.

“This motel was gross and not well cared for.”
Ice maker was broken, cockroaches in our room. Says non smoking but clearly isn’t. Beds were uncomfortable, furniture broken. The photos look nothing like the motel.
