“BIG Disappointment”

Not very much to like but for the staff and cleaning lady's. Jan's arranged for our transportation to and from the airport. They picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry from the hotel as well which was nice. The ac worked good.

“Disappointing”

Extremely disappointing stay. When we arrived, the hotel was basically a construction site. There were workers everywhere, loud machinery running constantly, ladders and construction materials scattered around the common areas. Only after our arrival were we told that renovation works had started. The staff suggested moving us to another hotel owned by the same property, but once we went there, they told us they had no available rooms for the four of us. We wasted about an hour trying to manage this possible change, only to be sent back. On top of that, we then had to wait more than another hour for our room, which was still not ready well after the official check-in time shown on Booking. We were told we wouldn’t be charged for the first night due to the inconvenience, but at check-out they went back on their word and charged us the full amount anyway. For the remaining two days, we were forced to stay in the middle of ongoing renovation works, with workers constantly coming and going, noise throughout the day, and dust everywhere. This is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel stay and should have been clearly communicated in advance. I would not recommend this place to anyone until the renovations are completely finished.

Excellent location centrally placed in Caye Caulker. Jaime at the front desk was very professional and helpful, arranging pickup from water ferry, providing good recommendations for restaurants, and always a pleasant disposition.

This place has great rooms, great views, great ac, right next to a cute and delicious ice-cream shop, close to everything, quiet at night, has a great rooftop sitting area fantastic for both sunrise and sunset, access to a cute beach/dock It really is what you see in the photos!

“It was a good place to stay and met our expectations fully”

We needed transport from and back to the water taxi, they were there to meet us and returned us on time with no issues at all. We also had a problem with faulty shower taps and they addressed it promptly and completely replaced everythong.

Really lovely hotel, we didn't want to leave! Rooms were spacious, comfortable and cleaned every day, also had a nice view from the balcony. We were able to rent a kayak for free and were provided with lots of helpful info (and aloe Vera!) From the staff. Great location close to the split, but not noisy.
