I love historic buildings that speak to a bygone era. The rooms are spacious, the furnishings are of the period, the location is directly across the road from the park, and the hotel staff could not have been friendlier. My grandfather stayed here in 1932 on a visit from Caoe Town, so I had to pay my respects! It would have been very fashionable then, but I found it's slightly faded grandeur very charming indeed.

The location is perfect. The hotel is exactly what is shown in the photos and description. Everything worked fine with a great shower. Staff is great

A STEP BACK IN TIME, THE HOTEL IS 138 YEARS OLD , ITS LIKE A MUSEUM. LIVE MUSIC WAS GOOD BREAKFAST WAS GOOD
