“A lovely stay in a beautiful building”

The hotel is beautiful from the outside a lovely shade of pink/red . you go through a big green door to the b&b my room was airy and light with a beautiful painted ceiling and very clean.l was able to leave my bag before my room was ready and the lovely people gave me a coffee.the b&b is very close to the train station and bus terminal and a short walk from the city centre.the breakfast was really nice with eggs and a selection of bread fruit and cheese.the people there were lovely and friendly and helpful

Staff was very welcoming, they had nice traveling recommendations and they helped us on every step.

I didn't expect the place to be so historical, the ceiling artwork really added to the experience. The father and son running the place are really sweet and made sure I was well looked after. Grazie!

It was a pleasure, if not a privilege, to stay at the Promenade B&B Hotel. Chosen because we needed a bed for the night before flying out of the airport the following day, we found the Promenade and our hosts to be epitome of Sicilian kindness, hospitality and helpfulness. Not easy to find, but do not be put off - this grandeur for very little cost is worth experiencing. I wished to stay longer. I wish to go back and explore Catania more from this venue. Do try - honestly.

The best part about our stay was the breakfast and the hosts who prepared it - really exceptional and served with genuine kindness and warmth. You could tell they cared about making sure their guests left the table smiling and ready to start the day well. The whole building is otherwise historic and interesting, and located very close to the central train station.

“Great hosts and great hotel”

Everything was great. Location is very close to bus station and not far from the center either. Room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was lovely ( eggs, pancakes!, vegetables, croissants, cold meats, toast and coffee of course) The hosts( father and son) were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Thank you for making us a cappuccino even though we had to leave quickly after breakfast started to catch our flight.

“Perfectly adequate at a reasonable price”

The owner and his son were very helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful painted ceiling. The bathroom was across the hall, but clean with towels to use. Breakfast was perfectly adequate with a good choice of cold buffet. They were very kind and let us leave our cases there, after we checked out, whilst we explored Catania. The only downside was that I was woken in the night by very loud talking and laughing which went on until 3 am, from somewhere in the building.

“Friendly family hotel in a great city”

Firstly the family who run the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly and we enjoyed speaking to them. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of choice and many cups of coffee were served as we chatted to our hosts. the location was very good being close to the railway station and also the airport bus stop. It was about a 20 minute walk to the city centre and it was also close to museums and the market

The location is fantastic, 10 minute walk to the city centre. The cleanliness is outstanding. Everything is very well looked after. The breakfast is delicious.

The location was great and we enjoyed staying in such a historical building. Each room had its own special feature.

The property is in a very convenient location, close to the train station and a short walk to the historical centre. There is a lift to their floor, so no struggling with suitcases up stairs. The room was airy and spacious and very quiet. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room is in a lovely light filled space overlooking the sea. Our hosts very kindly let us leave our suitcases until we caught our train in the afternoon.

Great location, within walking distance of city centre and train station. Welcoming Sicilian family, they took the time to talk about their beautiful house and their city. Breakfast was nice. They allowed us to leave our luggages for a few hours, before and after our stay.

Breakfast was superb – homemade and very generous. They offered fried eggs and omelettes made to order, along with a variety of breads, yoghurts, croissants, and sweet pastries. For drinks, you could choose from juices, water, coffee, tea, and cappuccino.
