“Central apartment, parking, outstanding host Riccardo”

Centrally located, including inner courtyard parking (such a bonus if you have a car in busy Catania) and a spacious balcony too. Outstanding host Riccardo. He helped my partner move the car when we parked a few streets away from the apartment, brought us croissants every morning and gave us recommendations for good restaurants. A lovely guy. Lots of extras (the things you may have forgotten, e.g. razors, toothbrushes etc.). Well equipped kitchen, again with extras such as cling film and foil. Complimentary bottle of wine was much appreciated. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Catania.

“Lovely Apartment in Fantastic Location”

Fantastic location in centre of Old City - just 3 mins walk from Cathedral (and other sights), restaurants etc. Lovely old Catania building - with updated / modernised ground floor apartment : small kitchen/diner/ living room, good size bedroom, dressing room, bathroom (plenty of hot water) and small outside patio looking onto courtyard. Lots of storage. Comfortable bed and quality linens. Small but well equipped kitchen. Hosts provided complementary coffee pods, cereal, milk, wine, beer plus cooking essentials. Secure parking (behind locked doors) - a really big benefit in a city where parking is a big problem. Hosts were super nice and very responsive. Minor issues were handled in minutes. Would happily stay again.

Ricardo was a lovely guy, spent time explaining everything, he delivered fresh croissants every morning, which was a welcome bonus. The apartment was spacious, spotless and very well equipped.

This apartment is clean comfortable and in a fantastic location. Owner goes above and beyond to make sure that you enjoy Catania. We had a problem with our taxi to the airport not arriving. Riccardo drove us to the airport with no hesitation and saved us from missing our flight. Can’t thank him enough.

The apartment was central to the old city of Catania. We walked everywhere and it was so easy from the apartment. We were brought pastries in the morning by Manuele and he gave us lots of recommendations of where to eat dnd what to see. The apartment was very clean and spacious. We ate breakfast on the cute little balcony.

The apartment is right in the heart of Catania with easy access by metro or bus etc. The location could not be improved, being just a few minutes walk from the Duomo and the Fish Market and many of the famous Piazzas. It is very well equipped for self catering and with Catania's wonderful open air food market only 10 minutes walk, the potential for wonderful home cooked food is always there. The most positive thing is the truly warm welcome from the host family: genuine and consistent through our stay. One of the best all- round experiences you could hope for.

Lovely welcome from Manuele, we arrived late at night but he was there to greet us. Wine, beers, water, milk, coffee etc left for us and fresh croissants delivered in the morning which were delicious. Lovely family run apartment which was really clean and ideally located. Car park in the courtyard is a great bonus. Excellent communication and appreciated all the recommendations for restaurants etc.

Everything was really good at Mamaricos. We would definitely be back.

“Amazing stay in central Catania”

The location was excellent for all of the main attractions. But above all else was the exceptional service provided by Manuele and the rest of the family with tourist advice, collection from airport, offers of lifts and the supply of morning croissants. They made it even more of a pleasure to stay at such a lovely place.

It is located in the city center of Catania, with restaurants and most historical sites within walking distance. Free parking is available. Nicely decorated. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and they were kind and generous enough to offer fresh croissants every morning and also provided a big bottle of drinking water every day.

A great spot in the centre of Catania with parking, a rare find. The property had everything we required, perfect for a few days in Catania. Manuele could not have been more helpful, contacting us on arrival in Catania and greeting us at the door. He had lots of suggestions about where to visit.

The apartment was a tranquil sanctuary in the heart of the city, close to Piazza del Duomo and Piazza Universita'. It has a parking space secure within the grounds and has all the amenities and comfort needed for a very pleasant stay. Manuele, our host, was delightful and provided us with plenty of information regarding restaurants and attractions and and an added bonus of croissants every morning for breakfast. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone coming to Catania.

We had a wonderful stay at Mamarico Apartment. Our host Riccardo was very kind. He met us with the keys and was very helpful with any questions we had. He even drove us to the airport when we left. We had wine/beer/water on arrival and fresh croissants every morning which were delicious. The apartment is clean, has everything you need and is central to all the great attractions. We could walk everywhere and it felt very safe. The bed is comfortable and air conditioning is great. We would highly recommend this place and looking forward to staying here again.

Perfect place for sightseeing Catania. The apartment, although it is in the very center of Catania, is in a closed courtyard, so it is quiet, peaceful. a great place to visit with children.
