We loved all the large apartment space and central location close to the old city. Our hosts were very gracious and helpful ensuring we would never run out of things to eat.

Apartment is huge and beautifully furnished. Location fabulous, right in the centre.

The space and the superb location would be top of the list but the amazing help and advice from our hosts who made our stay a real pleasure came a very close second. Given the proximity to the two main squares in the old centre we expected a noisy location but with the windows shut it was remarkably quiet. The hosts provided just about everything you could possibly need for a short stay and an array of snacks and drinks to start your day.

Excellent position next to the lively market and main street but very quiet. The apartment is extremelly spacious and decoration is a real plus. You don't have to be a pop-art lover to appreciate the harmony of this place. The owners welcomed us warmly and with plenty of information. There are two bathrooms but only one has a shower. The other with a big jacuzzi bath can't be used for a quick morning shower but of course it's fabulous to relax in the evening;

This artistic and spacious apartment is practically in the very center of Catania, just 2 min walking from Duomo. Living here you can explore the early morning and the late evening atmosphere of the city. The landlords are extremely friendly and the take care that all is well for the guests (many thx for that Ida and Gaspare). From them you will get a lot of important information of the surrounding. Having this kind of breakfast is very cute actually, you have to serve it yourself but the fridge is full, caffe is there etc. The car you can leave in the nearby parking place, just 5 min walking away. There are two sleeping rooms with 4 beds and a spacious living room with extra sofas, so more then 4 people is possible to overnight here (for family with 3 kids is no problem at all).

“Excellent stay in Catania”

Gaspare & Ida are wonderful hosts, arranged the airport transfer for us and provided helpful recommendations and suggestions on places to dine and to visit in and around Catania. They were very warm and welcoming, such a pleasant difference from other stays we have experienced where everything is done virtually and we never meet the hosts at all...! As for the apartment, it exceeded our expectations! While it might not look much from the outside, but once indoors, it was wonderful. The apartment is one level above the ground floor and has an elevator, which helps if you have heavy luggage. Inside, it is exactly as shown in the pictures on the Booking.com page, but you need to be there to get a sense of the size...its huge! The food provided for breakfast was more than enough for our 4 night stay, with bread, cookies, cake, milk and ham, butter, cheese & yogurt in the fridge. A coffee machine with coffee pods is also provided. Location wise, couldn't be better...a short walk from Duomo Square and via Etnea with the fish market around the corner. Overall one of the best stays we've booked on Booking.com...! P.S...the restaurant next to the apartment, "Maccarruni" is very good, try it!

Communication with the hosts was exceptional at all times, starting with answering all queries in the weeks before our arrival. The hosts greeted us at the apartment and settled us in. A great selection of breakfast/lunch items was provided. The apartment was very comfortable and was furnished with every amenity that we required. The info booklet in the apartment was very comprehensive and additional info and tips were sent to us once we arrived. The location is the perfect base to explore the city and further afield. We would not hesitate to return to this property. The hosts really go the extra mile to make your trip a success!!

Perfect place. Hosts went above and beyond. Stocked with great food, snacks and wine. Close to great restaurants bars and excitement. The area comes to life at night but it is a very quiet spot to sleep after a long day. I was allowed to check in early and out late due to my flights. Gaspare couldn’t have helped me anymore with taxis and advice.
