Casa Barbero Charme B&B is set in an elegant, historic building with garden. It is close to Catania's old town, 50 metres from Via Etnea and a 20-minute walk from the Duomo. The property is quiet and has 5 beautifully decorated rooms. All have TV, free Wi-Fi access and air conditioning. You can relax in the lounge, decorated with frescoes. There is also a private courtyard where your free breakfast is served. Some bikes are available free of charge at Casa Barbero. The Borgo Metro stop is just 5 minutes' walk away.

Nice and calm location with very friendly and helpful owners (and a super cute dog!). It's a bit of a walk from the absolute city center but we appreciated the peace and quiet. The room was clean, but there was a very strong musty smell in the room. The bed was comfortable, there was shower gel and soap in the bathroom, cleaning every day, AC, and a fridge in the room. Cute courtyard with some tables and nice plants. The breakfast was good with some cereal, croissants, toast, yoghurt, fresh fruits and packaged pastries (and of course coffee and juice).

“Great place to use a base if you want to explore Catania”
This is a little gem. Cosy, comfy rooms are set within a beautiful courtyard. Breakfast is simple but delicious. Coffee is good. Owners are friendly and they have an even friendlier dog!

Clean, spacious room, well furnished. Nice bathroom, well equipped. Beautiful little garden with gigantic monsteras in patio. Cozy balcony with a table and chairs. Good air conditioning.

“Good place to stay”
Casa Barbero was clean and close to the town (only 12-15 min walk). Antonio and Monica are top hosts, also little cute Lola 🐶was lovely. Room was big and had all the amenities. Breakfast was also good!

“Very comfortable and relaxing.”
The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre and only a 20 minute walk to the Metro and also the Circumetnea train station. The rooms are around a pretty courtyard providing a lovely spot for breakfast. We stayed in Bianco which was a beautiful and spacious room and very comfortable.

“Very pleasant stay despite the weather and Catania itself which was very disappointing”
Breakfast was excellent and lovely to be able to take it in the courtyard. Lola is gorgeous (dog) and checks that everyone is happy. Elena looks after you wonderfully and is a great hostess.

The Staff was very helpful, I totally recommend a stay there and it is very centrally located. So you can visit everything while walking. Also the garden is very nice and inviting.
