“Platinum service at Scirocco d'Africa B&B!”
We had a fantastic stay at Scirocco D'Africa! Our hosts Miriam and Cristina are absoulte gems! They prepared delicious, hearty breakfasts to keep us going all day and gave us innumerable local advice of what to see and do in Catania! The B&B is kept immaculately clean and the beds are very comfortable! It is located in a very strategic location just outside the busy Catania centre, yet close to the promenade and excellent restaurant frequented by locals. Highly recommended!

I would like to thank Miriam for her hospitality, she is great person, really helpful and open. Gave us good tips and where to eat like 'locals'. Room is really spacious, bathroom well equipped. Both were cleaned every day, towels changed as well. Air conditioner working properly. Breakfast delicious, tipical sicilian sweet but with additional of meats and cheese. We can drink juice and water that were available in fridge, everytime we wanted. Highly recommended to stay in Catania !

“ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!”
In Greece we say that people make the difference. Myriam and Cristina are the best hostesses we have ever met by far, all these years that we travel. We can not thank them enough for their hospitality and professionalism. Actually, the way that they run their business is the reason that everyone should choose this apartment in Catania. Room and bathroom are spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean . Air conditioner working properly. We did not mind the distance from the city centre, since we had a car and it was quite easy to find a parking lot nearby. Breakfast was definitely the highlight of our stay : it was the best breakfast served through "breakfast included" rooms, in our whole journey in Sicily. We ate eggs in breakfast after one week. It also included a variety of local delicacies savory and sweet, as well as yoghurt, fruits, juices e.t.c. Overall it was a WORTH REMEMBERING accommodation. Keep up the good work!!! Wish you all the best!!!

Our host Miria was amazing. She provided all the information about activities near Catania. She also prepared delicious breakfast. Beds are very comfortable and the accomodation is good to stay for a couple of days.

“Perfect start of our Italian adventure”
They were perfect hosts. They waited for my wife, our baby and me at the Central station to drive us to the b&b. And gave us dozens of great advices to explore the city and how to move trought the city during our stay. I would definately recommend this place to stay. They deserve their 9.5.

We travel a lot and this was one of the best accommodations we've stayed in. The ladies were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was amazing (also savoury one which was perfect for me since I do not like sweet pastries for breakfast). Although the house is located on a busy street the room was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. We did not mind the distance from the town center, since we has a car and it was quite easy to find a parking space nearby. All in all this is a perfect choice when staying in Catania and if we ever come back we will be definitely staying here again.
