First of all, Paolo was the most kind and welcoming host i have ever encountered! He left us pasticciotto and a bottle of prosecco for our arrival and left us a little bottle of oil and a key chain! Throughout our 4 day stay he checked on us and gave us so many tips for the area and where to go. Second, we stayed in the studio with sea view terrace and it was so beautiful!! Very clean and had everything you need for the kitchen as well. The terrace was amazing and we stayed there everytime we were at home, enjoying having breakfast and chill time.

I can't imagine a better stay in Castro than at L' ATTICO CastroSalento. Paolo is such a friendly and helpfull Host, was always taking care about us. Apartament is very clean, kitchen fully equiped and a wiev from terrace just... spectacular. The location is only few minutes from the beach and yet very quiet. I highly recommend this place! Great location and very friendly owner - easy walking distance into town. Parking space. The street is steep but the off street parking was great for our little rental car and we had a great stay. The rooftop is a lovely spot for a quick drink before heading out to dinner!

We loved everything about this place! The host Paolo was amazing! Prior to us checking in he was so helpful in assisting us to organise getting transport to the property. He checked in on us regularly and provided us with so many amazing recommendations. The apartment is beautiful and the rooftop terrace is insane. It is right in the centre of the Marina - a perfect location. We are so thankful to Paolo and would absolutely recommend his place to anybody!

“Castro studio”

Located in between the marina and old town steps in Castro. Paolo was always available and was very accommodating with everything we needed for an excellent stay. The powerful shower and comfortable bed were excellent.

The house is very close to the beach, The terrace has an awesome view, Very nicely decorated and equipped with utilities, The owner of the house is very helpful, friendly and generous. The complimentary snacks and coffee are delicious.

Nicest host you will ever meet. Our host was so kind and helpful. We were struggling with catching buses so he offered to drive us to the accommodation. He saved us so much time and stress; we couldn’t be more grateful. The room was perfect, great facilities and delicious pastries in the fridge for us. Perfect location too, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

The host is lovely, gives you everything you need to enjoy your stay in Castro. The location is perfect, close to the main centre/beaches, but away enough to not be busy/loud. Parking near the accomodation is a big bonus for Castro

The property is amazing and perfectly located, the room was really clean and cozy. The host Paolo was so kind and nice to us. He provided several suggestions for nearby beaches, restaurants, and locations to visit. Always available for any doubts/requests we have. Totally recommend it and definitely will be coming back.

“A dreamy roof terrace and a terrific location”

The roof terrace is even better than it looks in the photos online and was a huge highlight for us. There are epic views of the sea, the harbour and the old town above. We ate breakfast up there every morning, enjoying the sea breeze, and had a drink up there every evening as the sun went down. It's huge and clean with honey coloured tiles and brightly coloured pot plants everywhere. There is a table and two chairs, as well as two sun loungers. The location is terrific - literally 5 mins from the marina and sea. The old town above is a steep climb, especially during a heatwave, so if the walk is too much, jump on the tourist 'trenino' which goes from the marina right up the hills to the old town. Last one back to the marina is at 1am and it's only €3 return. The old town is really picturesque and special so don't miss it. Paolo was really kind and helpful to us, and gave us lots of helpful information on restaurants and sights to see in the area. On arrival, he had left a little bottle of Prosecco and two artisan Pasticciotti for us as a welcome gift, and also a bottle of water in the fridge. All very much appreciated. He arranged parking for us in the drive, and came to meet us to say hello on the day we left. He even gave us a little souvenir as a gift.

Wonderful apartment in a fantastic location close to the sea and restaurants in Castro. Paolo was a wonderful host who went out of his way to provide us with recommendations on what to do in the area.

Location. Short walk to everything. Parking at doorstep. Attention to detail with comfort and needs of guests well thought out and implemented. Small but cosy studio with good ventilation. Screens on windows. And good window coverings so that morning light doesn’t wake you. Welcome Prosecco well appreciated. Kitchen adequate for cooking simple meals with all essential tools provided. Great communication with the owner. Nice roof terrace.

“Heaven on earth”

The accommodation was lovely and the location was perfect. We were close to the marina and our apartment had a beautiful terrace with amazing views of the sea. Our host Paolo came to visit us and was friendly and helpful. He had provided treats on our arrival and was charming and he even allowed us a late check out on our departure day.
