“A fantastic place to stay in a beautiful town.”
The host was wonderful; he went out of his way to make our stay memorable, including bringing delicious fresh pastries and making us coffee each morning. We loved the view across the ocean from the balcony and it was close to everything; the town, the beach, restaurants, etc. The parking was free and just across the road.

“Simple but perfectly formed - by the sea”
Simple lodgings but not left wanting. Balcony with sea view. Comfy bed with ensuite that had great water pressure. Hot water and there was a small fridge. The aircon worked like a charm and this was a huge relief in 34° heat. The staff were overwhelmingly kind. They stayed late to ensure our check in and guided us in to parking. This alone is precious in Castro.

“Great location right in front of beach”
The view was amazing, right in front of a small beach. Place is very tidy, with all needed facilities. Having a free parking place was also very helpful. Pillows and bed were very confortable.

“Fabulous view”
We stayed here for 3 nights. It was lovely. It is spotless and very comfortable. The view is amazing it is a very short walk to lots of restaurants and the sea is just across the road. You can swim off the rocks or walk down to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Castro is a great town, historical points of interest, great quality restaurants, good swimming & launching point for many activities and places of interest in the area. The B&B: Very clean, my room was very new. Lovely breakfast & the views are as the photos indicate. Excellent value for money. Don't worry if you cannot get a seaview/balcony room as there is a common room with a balcony (where breakfast is served) that is always open. Exceptionally kind and hospitable hosts who could not do enough when I had unforeseen transport woes and was far too relaxed about contingencies. Under the conditions of my booking the hosts could have simply taken my money - with a "sorry for your troubles", instead they personally put themselves out to ensure I made it to Castro to enjoy this lovely B&B. My first visit to Italy - apart from my neices wedding in Fasano - the kindness of the hosts will remain my fondest memories of Italy. In the words of a famous Australian " do yourself a favour" and visit B&B The Sun 'tis.

“Perfect location overlooking the sea, 5 min walk down to the most beautiful dip.”
The location was amazing. We were right across from the public beach which was a big rock on the sea. Incredible! The owner and his son were so sweet.

The location is perfect, just in front of the sea, you can walk ( 5 minutes) to reach the center of Castro Marina, with all the bars and restaurant. A parking area is included in the room rate. Brand new room and bathroom, very spacious, bright and very clean as well. The breakfast room is tiny but has a wonderful balcony with sea view. The perfect option for your holiday in Salento.
