“Perfect place for a retreat, we loved it. Should we return to this region, we know where we are going to stay.”
Yvonne, the host, was great. The apartment has everything making the stay comfortable and perfect, all is well thought through and designed and furbished in a clean modern style = exactly ours. We appreciated specifically the warm welcome by the host, the welcome beverages, the view on the wonderfull large and well kept garden (including very cute hedgehogs), the well equipped terrasse, the fully equipped kitchen, the care with which the matrasses appear to have been selected (we sometimes have difficulties to sleep well when on vacation. Here, we slept very well and loved the roof window allowing you to see the sky), the bikeport including a plug pocket for ebikes, the car parking is on the venue etc etc etc. Nature fully surrounds you, Alkmaar and Egmond are only short bike trips away though. A perfect spot to start bike tours in the very nearby nature reserve.
