Beautiful 200-year-old chateau with very unusual architecture. Lovely two-sided staircase with an unusual two-sided landing at the top.

The room was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was also large and spotlessly clean. This is an old chateau / manor house, and was fascinating to stay in. The location was good for us, as we were driving to several locations about equidistant from it.

Idyllic location in a historical building with private grounds

Breakfast was very good and varied. Bread and croissants baked on site every day. Attention to detail was noticeable. We also had an evening meal in the garden next to our room, cooked by the host, good food, convivial setting and enjoyable. Our room was very spacious on the ground floor with private entrance and terrace under the trees. Easy parking onsite. We were very well looked after.

The location was easy to find just outside Castres which we very much enjoyed visiting . The house and gardens were magnificent, it was a period Manor house. The breakfast was taken in the garden and was excellent. The remarkable thing was that it is run singlehandedly by the owner.

Motorcycle touring stopover.

Lovely place to stay with History. We were traveling by motorcycle and Pascal showed us to the barn where are bikes were kept dry ovefnight. Big rooms, lovely breakfast and setting. We missed out on the evening meal as we didn't book one online before staying, but our host arranged a taxi into town and recommended a top place to eat. Excellent for couples and a stopover for bikers.

A hidden gem near Castress. Will be returning repeatedly!

What a hidden gem! The Manor House is about 300 years old and the grounds are stunning. The room was huge with a very comfortable double bed, tea and coffee making facilities and cable TV, to name a few. The best bit is that the owner will cook you an evening meal which is delicious. I’ve stayed in four and five star hotels that can’t compare with this place. Go there!

Exceptionally good in every way

Arrived to a log fire burning in our suite, a nice welcome from the host and an amazingly nice but also quirky room - loved it!! Followed by an amazing meal home cooked and served in a gorgeous dining room with music in the background. Breakfast was equally as superb. Really couldn’t have wished for more.

Overall a nice stay!

The bed and breakfast sits on a beautiful property and the house itself was very large with an air of history and legacy. It's conveniently located in the town of Castres (super pretty and nice to visit for a day or weekend). The host also provided us with a nice spread of breakfast outside in the garden. The rooms were incredibly large with all the appropriate amenities. I booked two rooms for myself and my partner and my parents.
