“Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous Harbour View”

Brian & Caroline were absolutely fantastic hosts. Their attention to detail, their thoughtful touches for guests, the warmest of welcomes, and their property itself, were all genuinely fabulous. Harbour View is actually comprised of two large detached properties which sit side by side on the one plot. There is a day room and 3 bedrooms in one of the houses, and another 3 bedrooms, another day room, kitchen and the breakfast room in the other house. All areas inside and outside have been meticulously cleaned and all areas inside the property are non-smoking. Breakfast was particularly outstanding, and both, the cooked breakfasts and the range of self serve breakfast items were superb. The standard of cooking, the quality of the food and the selection would put many 4 and 5 star hotels to shame. Our room was a great size, with a large and extremely comfortable bed, blackout curtains, a desk and desk chair along with a small but comfortable, soft chair. Plenty of hot water at all times in the bathroom, and the large shower had great pressure too. Nothing was too much bother for Brian or Caroline, and they maintained the perfect balance of being available and around, while still giving guests their own privacy and space. All in all, this was a fantastic stay, and I'd thoroughly recommend Harbour View to anyone looking for accommodation in Castletownbere or the surrounding area. It really was first class, and other B&B owners should take note, that this is 'THE' way to do it right.

We had a lovely stay at this B&B. Caroline is a lovely host and the breakfast was delicious, great choices, lovely bright modern accommodation and within walking distance of town. The room was modern, bed very comfortable and everything was very clean! The sitting room facility where we could relax and make a cup of tea and enjoy a biscuit was a really nice touch! Location and clean

We had a wonderful stay at the Harbour View. One of the best B&B's I ever stayed in. Caroline was extremely welcoming and made sure we were really well looked after. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. But the highlight was breakfast which was absolutely delicious, and had an abundance of choice. Will definitely be back!
