Riva Del Sole Resort & SPA is surrounded by 27 hectares of Maremma pine wood, directly set on its long private beach. “Canadians - we love Italy”
The staff were incredibly professional. Very attentive. Mostly friendly. Those restaurant staff sure work their buns off, especially the tiny woman who carries all those plates on that huge tray. She never stops moving! The hostess at the front who always wears her sunglasses was very very nice to us. It was a pleasure to see her every meal. She does a great job and works ALOT with long days. The woman who stands near the buffet was so cute and friendly. Very helpful when I was choosing items... Please thank her. The fitness clerk (I can't recall her name, but I talked about nails with her, well she was so lovely. It was nice that she could speak English to me. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms were immucalate. And our room was cleaned very promptly when we left which was nice as we returned to a nice clean room for our mid day cool off. We really enjoyed the beach with very good sand, and the cafe by the beach had great bartenders. Very nice and they remembered us every day. If I lived in Italy and not Canada, I would definitely return.

“Good seaside resort but perhaps not value for money”
Lovely pool complex. Food was good. Enjoyed the evening buffet. Beach on the doorstep. Sun loungers and umbrella on the beach included, once assigned to you, these are then yours for your stay. Resort very clean and well looked after.

The food in the restaurant is tasty, the selection is varied and the service is nice and everything is going well. Likewise, the receptionists are helpful. Our room was small, but nicely and purposefully furnished, nothing was missing for satisfaction. Nice and clean beach right next to the hotel. You will be allocated a parasol (sun ubrella) and sunbeds for the entire duration of your stay, and if you are unlucky enough that there is not a free place that you like on the day of your arrival (f.e. first row closest to the sea...), you must also be in the same place on the other days. Beachboy didn't know much English and it was complicated to communicate with him.

The only positive was the room was clean, tidy and well organized with space. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful and kind.

“Excellent location to get away from it all”
The beach was nice and close and it was good to have my own dedicated bed and umbrella. Breakfast was good, and the woman greeting me was really lovely!
