Location, it’s very quiet. Room very comfortable. Parking is a really appreciated. But the most important thing to highlight is the attention. Staff is amazing, as it’s a family run business they’re very close, they are lovely and close to us, recommending plans, attractions and making sure we’re having a nice stay. Irene, Elena and Margarita from the bistrot were amazing.

“Very comfortable stay in charming old town of Castello d'Empuries”

Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is nicely fitted in a modern style and is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Only a short walk to the centre of Castello d'Empuries and it's maze of medieval streets. Museum is worth a visit. Only a short drive to Roses, Empuriabrava and the wonderful countryside of Alt Emporda.

“Very nice, clean hotel”

We stayed one night at the hotel to make a day trip in Empuriabrava. The hotel was at a few minutes drive from the centre of Empuriabrava. The staff was very friendly and speak French and English. The hotel had a very modern interior and the rooms and other spaces were very clean. The bed was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious with a modern walk-in shower.The breakfast was nicely served and we had a good variety of bread, croissants, cake, fresh orange juice and fruit, ham, cheese, egg, yoghurt, etc. . We had a very nice stay at the hotel.

“They lie about the flexibility conditions in booking.com”

We did not get to stay there, we were late to the checkin time due to a traffic jam, even though we contacted the property they could not be flexible, which I can understand. What I cannot understand is that after they offer date changes in booking.com and you ask for a date change for a date in low season to try to not miss the booking money they do reject it (after having been on the phone with them about the traffic jam situation). Not only that but they call you back to tell you they will reject the booking change and push you to get there by the booking time, because otherwise they allegedly will be prejudice because they keep the room empty and blame booking for offering the date change. Okey, then review your offerings in the platform, how can I be responsible for booking a room with date flexibility to be safe on uneventful circumstances and trying to use it because of an unpredictable event

Room and bathroom was large. Staff were helpful, arranging a taxi for us when no buses were running.

Room too hot

AC centrally controlled so room was too hot so we had to sleep with window open overlooking noisy road. Also not allowed to use fridge for own items so it was running for 2 small bottles of water!
