Unbelievable location, nestled amongst the hills above Cefalú, with far-reaching views of the sea and surrounding landscape. Beautiful buildings with superb facilities, including bar, pool, gym and on-site restaurant. Staff were so helpful and informative and seemed genuinely pleased to talk and meet us. The restaurant served incredible food - we had the four courses with matched wine and it was by some distance the best food experience we had in our two weeks travelling across Sicily, where we were able to sample wines, olive oil and fresh organice produce from the surrounding area. So peaceful and quiet, with ample space around the pool for sunbathing, sipping wine or chatting. We were given a free tour of the wine cellar where we were told all about the wine-making process and where they ship their many thousands of bottles each year. This was a calm, welcoming oasis for us and we wished we had longer here, though we are already planning to return later in the year. Outstanding.

Beautiful property in a beautiful area of Sicily. I loved the room's interior and the view from the swimming pool. We had a beautiful dinner in the restaurant as well.

“Go for the views!”
Great views from the pool area. Dinner in the restaurant was expensive but good quality. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Big bathroom but tiny shower!

“A hidden gem”
A hidden gem ... especially for wine lovers ( opportunity to taste wines made on site... and have a tour of the winery).. Don't be put off by the approach road ... persevere ... an oasis of calm awaits. Gorgeous views from sun terrace and pool. Table d'hote dinner with accompanying wines was the highlight Ps don't miss the steps up to the "panoramic viewpoint"

“Peaceful retreat on a high vineyard”
The peace and quiet - we could only hear birdsong. Off the road a 3km drive up a bumpy track through vineyard and olive groves. Fabulous food and wine. Great wine tour. Shame weather- thunderstorms.

“Lovely old monastery converted to a hotel. Fantastic restaurant.”
The restaurant is superb - the five course Easter Sunday lunch was one of the best meals we have ever had in Italy - no wonder the restaurant was packed. Really friendly staff. Beautiful location high up in the hills - when the pool is open it would be a lovely spot. Buildings tastefully converted from a monastery - the remaining chapel is worth a visit.
