Hotel La Pace is only 200 metres from the centre of Cassino and its main shopping area. This 3-star hotel features elegant rooms and free WiFi. “Comfortable stay, it worked for us for what we were there for.”
We were there for information on WW2 and the owner plus his associates really helped with that. The location was perfect, the couple we were with had a view of the Monastery from their room. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pino is a great host. Extremely knowledgeable about the battle of Monte Cassino and an enthusiastic raconteur. There is lots of interesting memorabilia for you to browse.

“One night in Cassino”
The staff were so friendly. Also I was In Cassino specifically for the WWII Historical Tour of Cassino & Monte Cassino, Hotel Pace is dedicated to the WWII & has so much information about the battles & soldiers that fought there.

“Loved it. Pilgrimage for uncle Ron.”
It was like visiting a museum full of interesting artefacts and books on the ww2 battle for Monte Cassino and Anzio. The owner has a huge knowledge of what happened then and was able to assist us put the picture together of what happened to our uncle who died at Anzio in 1944 aged 19.

Pino the owner is a WONDERFUL human who took a special interest in the purpose of out trip. He is keeping the stories of all the soldiers who lost their lives at Cassino alive. Fabulous views of the monastery and the Abbey Walking distance to best bakery in Cassino Beautiful warm room Fabulous breakfast Extensive collection of war memorabilia and records Well worth a visit

Location, staff and the interesting museum style exhibits in the communal area of the hotel were all perfect for those interested in the WW2 battle for Monte Cassino. The hotel would also be a good base for trekking too.

Antonnio was awesome to connect with and great comm’s The apartment was great location close to everything and we were pleasantly surprised what a great area surrounds the apartment . We were able to store our bags on the 1st floor for the day before we went to the airport and they were super great too. Overall for a short stay would highly recommend
