Great location, not at all like your typical hotels near Calais. I would happily go there as a destination rather than just a stopover whilst travelling. Staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely little town on a big hill, loads of history and with great options for dining.

“Quirky hotel in scenic location”
Our room was spacious and clean with some original decor features, giving it a very individual feel. Breakfast was served in a beautifully appointed room downstairs. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. We did not see any other members of staff during our visit.

From the moment of checking in the hotel was fantastic. The staff were attentive, the room was spacious and airy. The location within the town is perfect for visiting the local bars and restaurants. The hotel conservatory for breakfast has panoramic views over the Flanders countryside.

This is an excellent hotel in the centre of Cassel. The breakfast is particularly good and it comes with an amazing view as well. Very comfortable rooms and a superb location.

“Not worth the money it was like faulty towers”
The property was a very strange property. Inside it appeared grand on the first floor but the rest of the hotel was extremely tired and a bit like faulty towers It was like a ghost hotel we only every saw 1 member off staff at a time and a total of 2 in our whole stay. Our room had an extremely small entrance where you had to walk sideways to get in. Never had a toilet shower or jacuzzi downstairs Every restaurant in the village was closed and if you had breakfast in the hotel it was €17 pp Car park was out the back but 4 floors down you walked through a tired outside with a patio falling to pieces and a hole that used to be a swimming pool My advice find a different hotel

“Loved its central location in Cassel and we managed to park a few yards down the road in a small car park.”
Loved its old worldly charm . We had a room on the ground floor in the courtyard so no problem with managing suitcases. It was huge and nice and quiet. The view from the dining room was fantastic looking out over the valley below.
