The breakfasts and evening meals were extremely good and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The gardens are beautiful. The food was lovely, we ate in the evening at the restaurant and had breakfast too. The beds were very comfy. The views in the morning were fantastic

Nice cabins with great views in a beautiful garden. The young team is very professional and friendly, and the restaurant and especially the breakfast was among the best we had in this country.

Great comfy beds and pillows, the room was extremely clean and had a pleasant cedary smell. The staff went above and beyond, they even stored our precious queso turrialba in their fridge.

Super friendly staff, one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in all Costa Rica! The cabin was very cozy. It did get a little cold during the night but the heater and a couple of blankets sere sufficient. Ideal place to stay if you’re arriving in the afternoon/evening and planning a morning trip to Irazu.

“Wonderful cabin close to the Volcano”

Grandpas Hotel features some spacious bungalows in a very convenient location to visit Volcan Irazu. The bed and the pillows are outstanding - we had a super comfortable night! The included breakfast is excellent and the staff is very accommodating and friendly!

The bed was amazing. Best bed with great pillows that I have had so far in Costa Rica out of 9 places I've slept at. The terrein was beautiful, lovely neat garden with a view over the mountains. Good food at their restaurant.
