Excellent bed and breakfast in a central location. The entire building is designed in a beautiful style. Marcela, the host, is very warm and helpful. The breakfast was also wonderful. Highly recommended.

We had a short but great time. Very well located place, just a couple meters from the Basilic and the center (main square, stores, markets and restaurants), with parking lot. We had a problem with our car on the way and arrived after checkin time, but very well welcomed anyway, they let us use the kitchen because we haven’t eaten for a long time. Amazing breakfast, felt like grandma’s home.

The Host/Hostess were extremely friendly and although they did not speak English, we were able to communicate any needs. They let us use their kitchen microwave and sit in the dining area to chat with our friends. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was fruit, rice and scrambled egg with bread. Coffee was good. The location was excellent for a walking tour of Cartago, lots of restaurants to choose from. People were friendly and helpful. Secure parking for our car was appreciated and the locks on hotel to get in, made us feel very safe.

Our room was comfortable and spacious. Staff were friendly and breakfast was fine with fruit and then eggs with rice and beans. The property is very close to the centre of town and offered us secure parking.

Good position for visiting Irazu Volcano, Cartago and the surrounding areas. Easy checkin and good breakfast. Staff tried very hard to make our visit enjoyable.

The location was perfect! One block from Basilica and restaurants! The home was old but very unique and clean. Breakfast was usually Costa Rica beans rice eggs and fruit… very fresh and good.
