Beautiful property on the water, spotless and welcoming. Susan our hostess was super friendly and helpful, breakfasts were delicious and filling with lots of coffee! Dinner recommendations were spot on and we could come and go as we pleased.

“It is a beautiful spot to unwind. It is very private yet close to all the the places we went to.”
The Bay View Suite was as described. Once I saw the photos of the suite online I knew that’s where I wanted to stay. The breakfasts were delicious. Our host Susan was friendly, warm, helpful and interesting. We enjoyed talking to her so much we invited her to sit with us each morning for coffee!

Susan is an amazing host that gives a lot of attention to details. The suite is great and very private while the location on the lake is very calm and the view is stunning. A touch off the beaten path, the Empty Nest is truly a hidden gem in PEC. Accommodations are luxurious without being stuffy, situated in a magnificent lake front location. Breakfast is sumptuous- thoughtfully prepared, overly generous and highlighting the best of the season. Susan is the most gracious host.

The Empty Nest is a welcoming and lovely home to stay in, extremely clean and well managed with a lot of thought given to every detail. This is certainly a place to relax and unwind, no TV, no radio, no clocks! Just enjoy the beautiful views, peace, quiet and serenity to cleanse the soul. Breakfast is amazing, and while there is a set menu, Susan and her daughter Kate try to accommodate dietary issues as and where they can. They were the nicest, kindest hosts and we couldn't have asked for anything more. The bar is set very high here.
