Super clean, comfortable, very quiet place

We felt very welcome when we arrived and were greeted by Paulo. The room was spotlessly clean and very nice. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was very tasty and the service Paulo and his wife provided was excellent.

Location, view from room

Very friendly host welcoming us and provided us with a map, advised on the area. Our room was very nicely decorated, new and clean and with balcony view to the mountains. The breakfast was also nice even with home made apple pie. A great place to stay.

Accommodation 645. The bed and breakfast was founded six years ago by (retired) Paulo. Great place, good sleep, bed, A/C temperature and breakfast. It's a dangerous walk from the train, crossing a busy road with no crossings available. Best is you drive. There's a gate. No intercom. You need to ring them on a phone Homemade cakes for breakfast, I tried the Nutella, lemon, apple and chocolate ones. Tasty berry juice (from a carton) and isn't juice from a carton - poured by the owner Paulo. Lovely smelling individual toiletries. Had read about a little lift and we're grateful of a lift into Carrara, he won't take you up the mountain though if you ask. They do all the serving regarding breakfast (and may watch you 😵) Lovely the chill, fresh decor. We were in the first room on the left, Petulia I think. It's easy to forget as it's not a number and it's not on the key. We didn't sight a bin in the room so used the bathroom. I don't recall seeing an option to change the AC setting but unlike Florence it was at a good temperature. Nice compound where they live. I want sure if we could get coffee/tea outside breakfast. It seemed not the case. We were given ample cold water bottles when we checked in. We paid when we checked out.

“Great Bed and Breakfast in Carrara”

The owners are a lovely couple that took care of us during our stay. The whole place was very clean and tidy and a good location for us to get to our tour. They put on a nice breakfast each morning and even gave us a generous selection of cakes to take when we were leaving early. They also offered to drive us to the station when we left which was very nice of them!

This is an excellent place to stay while hiking along the Via Francigena. The facilities are superb and the hosts are warm and welcoming - as well as extremely helpful. The property is well-located for a hiker and there is a great pizzeria only 7 minutes away by foot. Highly recommended!

I really liked the view from our balcony to the marble mountains. We booked this place without knowing much of the area - turned out those mountains are the famous Carrara marble mountains. The place has a nice parking spot

Great stay, house is amazing and cleanest ever. They serve good breakfast. Hosts are so polite and kind. Parking is behind locked fence. We enjoyed our saying there. I recommend.
