Overview
Swiss Historic & Garten Hotel Villa Carona is a 200-year patrician estate with a lot of history; it is set in an attractive quaint village, where Herrman Hesse spent many precious hours. The property is managed and owned by the Deuber-Marty family. Each room is individually decorated and furnished with antique pieces. The garden is a small paradise, in which one may enjoy breakfast outside, lounge around in the sun or shady spots and play table tennis. It also features a children's pool, grape pergola and a restaurant for healthy meals.

“A great en route stay for us, super location and very comfortable & accommodating.”
Like the fact the team are stable, so you get to know them. Love the location (away from the hustle & Bustle) and love the fact we can just walk out to the super restaurant.

Breakfast was excellent and better than many 5 star hotels with a broad selection of high quality options Grounds are impeccably kept and garden us beautiful Has a lovely family feel to it and is full of old world character. Bed was very comfortable with good quality linen In a beautiful village with some nice restaurant options nearby including the one at the hotel which is very good

The garden is absolutely stunning! It is such a beautiful place - the vibe of the little town, the views, the old building. Amazing.

“Absolutely Superb”
We really wished that we were staying here for more than the one night. The hotel, the staff, the food, the room and the facilities were all amazing. Breakfast was nicely varied and served in the garden. It was a lovely tranquil place to stay.

What a wonderfully quaint hotel in a super location, great restaurant with wonderfully friendly staff everywhere. Great breakfast spread! I love the outside area and can't wait to go there in late spring or summer. Close to a great family public pool and

The breakfast is amazing, fresh, local, homemade and very tasty. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. It seems that is one family which we really enjoyed. Kids are welcome and well treated. The garden is a very peaceful and great space to escape, relax and chill. There are several hike trails wich start close to the hotel which is great. No need to move the car as the Restaurant, which is at the hotel serves great food as well for the evening dinners!
