It’s a beautiful building in a lovely town! The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfy! Very friendly staff.

We loved the old building beautifully dressed in keeping with its character. It was homely and inviting. The staff were friendly and professional. Really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is very beautiful , the location is perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful - the internal patio is fantastic, and the room is very comfortable.

“Room was a stuffy airless windowless cell!”

The room was like a cell with no window for natural light or fresh air, hence was very stuffy and claustrophobic. Otherwise the hotel building is very attractive and should have been an enjoyable stay. The location is excellent in the old town with good restaurants in easy walking distance. I would recommend that the hotel stops using this room for guests and returns it to a store room, which is is most suited.

The staff were amazing. They were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I had a late check-in, but I was given very clear and easy instructions, which worked like a dream. The whole establishment is like a vibrant museum, and it was very comfortable and clean. It is centrally located near the Plaza Fernando and within easy walking distance of both historic gates.

A lovely period property. Location was great and communication prior to arrival re entry was good. Street parking was available close by. Room and bathroom a good size and clean. Staff friendly although their English was limited, as was our Spanish, but we managed ok.
