Peaceful location, town a short walk away. Isabella and staff very friendly. We couldn’t do the walking we had planned due to bad weather but Isabella offered us several alternatives. We visited The Medici Villa of Poggio a Caiano which we found beautiful and very interesting and also the birthplace of Leonardo de Vinci - Vinci, where we had a spot of lunch and visited the museum which was fascinating 🙂

“Record heat and isolation, but friendly service in a stunning place. Get a car. Good restaurants”
The breakfast is seved in a grand room, great views to the hills and valleys. I enjoyed the fresh rustic bread with all kinds of jams, and took it outdoors to enjoy the views. The coffee, was pleasant, but I prefer my coffee strong. A few cereal offerings and one day fresh melon, another day a home baked cake.

It was wonderful perfect weekends. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Isabella is a wonderful owner, she lives with her daughter in another part of the house. It is difficult for them to look after such a big house together but they do a great job! Breakfast was ok for me 🙂 The house is the same as it was 500 years ago, the place is so beautiful. Thanks Isabella for all❤️

Very nice country house near Florence (Firenze). It has an excellent panorama view to the surrounding cities. The owner speaks several languages, she is very helpful. If you like old houses and you want to feel the past around you, that's the best place for your stay. It's easy to find in the village. Florence is 30 minutes by car.

“An authentic Tuscan experience!”
First and foremost, Isabella! What a kind and thoughtful host she is! The location of the property is ideally situated. Close to La Rocca, where you can appreciate a breathtaking view of the Tuscan countryside. We liked the history of the house and the antique decor of our room. It used to be an ancient monastery and you can still see a few signs from that time. Our private bathroom was recently renovated. A must do if you stay a couple of nights, is the private dinner experience in the tour of the house. The chef is Isabelle herself, and we’ve had the most wonderful 360 view over the Tuscan sunset while enjoying one of the best pasta dishes! Very reasonably priced given the authentic experience. The owners were so amazing. They helped me with everything and I felt so calm. The place is dated but it’s a charm of this old houses. There was a tea and coffee and nice breakfast. My room was clean and spacious. The view is stunning!
