Often it is the staff that really make a place. The Coachman's Inn is definitely one of those positive such situations ! It's all maintained to a great standard, and located very centrally close too the main drag within Carmel's high street

The location was perfect, right in the heart of Carmel, close to all the shops, restaurants, and the beach. The inn had a charming atmosphere, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the fireplace made it feel extra cozy. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Well appointed, nicely decorated and clean rooms. Great location, walking distance to all of Carmel. Free parking was a plus!

The location is very central, and our ground-floor room was brand new and fully equipped with all comforts. The bathtub was comfortable and also had a handheld showerhead. Breakfast was simple and essential, with some daily specialties prepared by the chef.

All the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Upon arrival there were snacks and drinks available and although the breakfast was modest it was more than enough for my family to feed on for the day. We had a family room with two massive queen beds and the room itself was large enough for my family of four to not feel like we were on top of ourselves. Plus the central location was perfect for being able to walk around the central shops and restaurants of Carmel

Great location, very clean, super comfortable bed with gorgeous soft bed linen, fantastic service and enjoyed the complimentary afternoon cheese and wine. Breakfast selection, although small was very good.

Beautifully furnished rooms and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff and guests. We particularly enjoyed the little touches like the cooked item at breakfast and the complimentary wine and appetisers in the afternoon. The hotel is well located for walking, the restaurants and is just a short walk from the fabulous beach
