Overview
Set in 3 acres of gardens, Grove House Bed & Breakfast is located in the medieval village of Carlingford, County Louth. It offers a choice of breakfasts from the menu, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Rooms at the Grove House are en suite with free toiletries. Rooms include beds with electric blankets, flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms are on the ground floor and some have garden or mountain views. In the mornings, the Grove House serves breakfast in the upstairs dining room, which overlooks the beautiful garden. The menu includes full Irish breakfast and pancakes with maple syrup. Carlingford town centre is a 10-minute walk away via a well lit footpath and has a good selection of shops and restaurants. On Ireland’s East Coast, Grove House is midway between Dublin and Belfast. Dublin Airport is a one hour drive away.

I travelled for a short work trip, the owner was really friendly and helped me with any questions I had about the local area. The room and bed was really comfy, plenty of parking, lovely gardens and a short work into town to local restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was continental style, but with loads of choice and hot coffee!

A wonderful house & location. Our hostess Wendy was just fabulous & extremely welcoming. Our room was lovely & refreshments available in room. Our continental breakfast was excellent- with a wide variety of products. Coffee was excellent 👌.

We received a lovely warm welcome at Grove Guest House. The room was cosy and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was excellent. It’s just a short walk to the centre of Carlingford. I would highly recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to return!

“Grove House ,outstanding place”
Grove house was the nicest place to stay in a long time, the house was spotless and lovely, breakfast was lovely but would have liked a cooked breakfast, however the cleanliness, the host made up for no cooked breakfast and the continental breakfast was outstanding, no doubt we will be back, this place is a treasure ,5* all the way.
