“no covid safety protocols and horrible wi fi”
This was my second stay here. The last being 2 years ago. This time things were not very good. There were several problems with my stay: 1) someone in the reception office used the registered credit card to make personal purchases, which ended up having the credit card canceled and some headaches. No substantial action beyond denial was done by the office. 2) No COVID protocols were in place in this hotel. Reception personnel were always indoors unmasked, restaurant personnel were 50% of the time unmasked and/or incorrectly using masks. There was no reminders of guests to use masks at all in indoor places. This is in serious contravention to the law at the location and a serious risk at time of rapidly spreading omicron. This disregard for safety and common sense is just unacceptable. 3) Wifi... in 2021 is just unacceptable to have wifi that works only sporadically and with extremely slow speeds. I needed to do a couple of Zoom calls and this was completely impossible to achieve. In 1990's perhaps it was OK, in 2021 wifi is as essential as water.
